Devstream 60
Yeah, yeah, we know, after 54 comes 55, not 60. So, after being away for a while, WE'RE BACK with your summary of the latest Devstream
J-3 Golem
Finally, your endless earch on Thermisto is over and you won't have to be wating your Raid keys anymore, because he's back (wow, lots of being back here, next time we should get Schwarzenegger over), your favorite, or not so favorite, or just meh, boss. Instead of you having to do a Raid, you will soon be able to do a regul;ar assassination on him to train your skills for the Raid. And don't worry, he'll remain in the Raid as well
Archwing
The most anticipated upon and most revolutionary part of Warframe which turned out to be the most boring and abandoned part of Warframe is going to be improved. Yes, we're talking about Archwing here. And the changes are not slight, since there will be:
2 new mission types added.
Better visiblity of the enemies on te map, which will also be more aggressive
The whole system, including fighting, will be more centered about your flying-skills
And best of all, the grind of levelling is gonna be reduced.
So, get ready to wait until it arrives in the game, then check it out once, say "That was fun". And never play it again.
Arcane Enhancements
Besides Archwing the next thing DE can't make up their minds about, Arcanes. Remember when they were in the game, remember when they were gone and remember when they were reintroduced? Now they're gonna be changed again and this time, it is actually wuite good. There is namely gonna be a whole new screen for managing Arcane, also the waiting time for adding or removing Arcanes is gonna be removed and the cost or Arcane distillers is gonna be cut in half.
Wu Kong
Wu Kong? Who the hell is that? If you have not been checking the forums you may not know yet, but this is the Warframe which got the community wild. As an ad for the Chinese version this Monkey Warframe first appeared and got everyone wondering if it would also come to the global version. And it will. In about 45 days. So get prepared for it.
Atlas
But besides Warframe China, the original Warframe isn't gonna disappoint us either. The upcoming Warframe, named Atlas, is arriving soon and we got some first specs of it. He is gonna be an Earth based Warframe with powers based off this idea.. His first ability is a sliding punch; re-casting the ability within a certain time window will actually create a 'combo' that halves cost and doubles damage of subsequent casts. He can create a rock barrier, which can then be launched as a projectile (steerable with the mouse) and has a CC ability that slows enemies, and upon prolonged exposure, petrifies enemies. Atlas' ultimate summons 2 Rock Golems to fight - more Power Strength makes the Golems physically larger.
Valkyr Re-Work
After Excalibur and Frost, it's Valkyr's turn to get a rework. Besides the wonderful skin we got teased with, which is now actually gonna be implented in the game, also her attacks will be reworked. Rip Line is getting similar combo mechanics to Atlas' punch; casts after the first will have a reduced cost, making it easier to swing repeatedly, also the casting animation for Rip Line will be quicker and stretch farther
Furthermore will Valkyr's Hysteria work like Exalted Blade - it will be toggleable and will only use weapon mods, not the weapon stats
Corpus Modular Enemies
Besides new Warframe there are also gonna be new Corpus and they are expected in update 17.5. This enemies willl be able to interfere with Warframe powers, so they may be as bad a s nullifiers, so prepare.
Other Stuff
• Handshake emote will change depending on Syndicate standing; it's not separate emotes that you can collect
• After the Void is 'exploded' Void Keys will still be useful
• Boar is returning after 17.5, but it's shaping up quite nicely - greatly updated appearance and function
• Devs are aware of and working on Syndicate proc effects ruining stealth attempts
• Peacemaker is getting re-worked - it will no longer cover 360 degrees, it will begin covering a large area, but that area will decrease as time passes, and damage will increase
• Equinox's Mend will be buffed to restore Shields as well as Health
• Snipetron's return via Project Undermine event hinted at by Rebecca
